Need a bike tune-up? Want to learn about foraging in the forest? You can do these things and much more at the Earth Day celebration hosted by the Land Trust of North Alabama on April 23 at the Orion Amphitheater.
Described as an “earth-loving swap meet,” the Earth Day gathering will include a range of eco-educational workshops and live demonstrations. You can take your bike to HUBS Coop for a tune-up and join Feral Foraging to learn about edible forest plants. Also, the Master Gardeners of North Alabama will present a seed-planting workshop, and Green Tea Press will offer a shirt-printing demonstration. There will also be the opportunity to swap gently used clothing.
The event runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and you can click here for more information
