Christmas on the River at Ditto Landing offers a great opportunity to celebrate the holidays and explore the Tennessee River Greenway trail. Every day and evening from December 2 to December 31 you can stroll the paved greenway path which is lined with lighted 4-foot by 8-foot Christmas cards. If you’ve never walked this path, it offers an impressive, unobstructed view of the wide Tennessee River.
Before or after your walk, you can take kids to see a model train display at Santa’s Depot. Plus, you can enjoy several free events, including Fireworks Night, Deck the Docks, food trucks, Caroling at the State Docks, and a visit from St. Nick himself. There’s even a chance to celebrate with pets at the Jingle Tail Walk.
